This is the first time in Malaysia. I'm staying in Penang. I have seen most of the city. There are lots of spectacular scenery : green trees, coconut trees etc.. So, if you want to come to Penang you can take a flight from the capital, Kuala Lumpur. The ticket costs approximately RM 500 by Malaysian Airlines.
I recommend that you change your local money at the airbort before you leave.
I prefer to collect the map of Penang at the airport. It 'll help you to get know to the places.

You forgot say that the people in Penang are very kinde in the deal more than KL. Also Penange is generaly cheap. I hope you engoy your time.
